  1. You don’t.

  2. use a lemon twice a week

  3. use eydrops to cut down on swelling and redness. for whiteheads crush an aspirin and mix it with a spoonful of water, apply to zits+ leave for 8+ hours

  4. uhm…you can try steam..but i think you shood use those products cuz they help a lot…esp. a prescription one..you can also try a benzoyl peroxide based product or sacycilic acid one {however you spell it}…u can try a potato for the inflammation..ithink i heard that it helps some where

  5. What are those other products. You have to use something to get rid of them. See a dermatologist if you do not want to use proactiv.

  6. I dont know what all youve tried but try using a cleansing cloth that u wet like dove of naxima and a toner like sea breeze and use a moisturizer that is oil free. also DRINK MORE WATER that is the best thing. It helps get the impurities out. If none of this works or youve already tried it consult a dermatologist.

  7. drink lots of water, cut potatoes and peanuts out of your diet. Don’t try to use excessively drying products on your skin – it only stimulates your glands to produce more. Do use witch hazel as a toner (at the local drug store) and maybe a light aloe vera gel.

  8. well first, CALM DOWN! people say stress doesn’t cause acne but as a person who has had mild acne for over six years, i believe it definitley plays a part in it. i have tried a presecribed benzoyol (sp?) peroxide, clearisil, proactiv, natures cure, everything. clearisil works, but just for pimples and not big pores or anything, but it makes your skin very dry. i did notice a difference with natures cure, but once again just for pimples. i would try that and definitley use the pill and the cream to get maximum results. and find a dermatoligist, they can probably prescribe something.

and there is always laser. but that is very pricey.

drink water, its good for your skin.

  9. Wash your face before you sleep, after you wake up and get enough sleep and try to reduce stress from your life.

  10. hi there, allot of people are deficient in some vitamins. You can drink all the water in the world but if you don’t have the right vitamins in your system you’ll just pee it out. Your skin is the last thing to cleanse itself. I would see a dermatologist as acne is serious and affects our whole day. Unfortunately allot of cosmetics and skin care products contain preservatives that more and more people are becoming allergic to and these alone will cause acne. And over scrubbing or stripping your face of its protective acid mantle will also worsen the condition……email me if you need more help – I’m happy to help, Melanie

  11. First of all, I use ProActiv and it works great. But I haven’t always been able to afford it, so here’s how I used to keep the pimples in control:

    1. Don’t touch your face! Acne prone skin is often very sensitive, and the oils or whatever on your hands can really cause your skin to break out.

    2. Don’t wash your face too much. Pimples don’t always mean your skin is dirty. Sometimes acne can be caused from the harsh chemicals in face washes, especially acne washes. Also, watch out for toners and lotions. They don’t bother some people, but if your skin is sensitive, they will only cause more damage.

    3. Don’t pick or touch your pimples. If you have to pop them, make sure your hands are clean. Only pop them when they are ready, which is when you can see the white head at the top.

These are a few tips that have always helped me. I hope they help you. Good luck!
