From personal use, use benzoyl peroxide gel!
You can get it from the chemist for about $15-20 a tube and you apply it in the morning and at night. It works really well.
Hope this helps!
clearsel it works
Neutrogena Acne Wash
my little brother has terrible acne, he used proactiv and it made no difference, he went to the dermatoligst and spent hundreds of dollars on expensive perscription stuff and that didnt work and then we met this lady who sells a product called beauty control and that finally did the trick… the stuff is called the all clear line and it has a full money back guarantee if your not satisfied… give it a try… the link is below… they also have a microderm abraision kit that is way less expensive then going to get it done at the dermatoligist to reduce scarring
i had pimples all over my face for 2 years! what made it go was …i used clearasil wash then after the wash when its all dried i used the tea tree oil from the body shop! it really does the stuff!
hope it works
benzaclin.its a benzoyl peroxide gel and it works!
i also use clinque acne solutions 3-step system
if you want something form a drugstore buy clean and clear control cleanser with the clean and clear advantage oil-free moisturizer. if you have oily skin use both in the morning and at night. if you have combination or dry skin use only at night and apply the moisturizer in the morning. dont use bad makeup! for oily skin use powder. liquid foundation and oily skin just dont work well together. an awesome powder is physicians formula mineral loose powder. it soaks up unwanted oil and helps sensitive and acne prone skin. but the last thing you want to do is put loose powder on dry skin. dry skin needs to be hydrated throughout the day. use physicians formula mineral liquid makeup. it also helps sensitive and acne prone skin. another thing you can do with any kind of skin type is go with all natural cleansers. try zyporex, its all natural and just for acne. it gives you a really clean feeling. natural can be the best thing because it doesnt contain harsh chemicals that can irritate your face rather than help.
Don’t Use Benzoyl Peroxide!
I know over 80% acne products contains BP.
Check out this information from :
Here’s the fact acne product manufacturers don’t want you to know about :
1. Benzoyl Peroxide works in fighting acne by releasing free radicals capable of killing bacteria. At the same time however, it also has the ability to mutate DNA, and this can lead to skin cancer. This has been proven scientifically.
2. You put on antioxidant cream to protect your skin from free radicals found in polluted environment that ages your skin. Yet, do you know that benzoyl peroxide is a powerful oxidant. Your skin will age faster with benzoyl peroxide usage.
Do you know that pimples is a sign from your body telling you something is not right? In your case, it is hormone imbalance. The increase of androgens hormone inside your body during teenage years will cause excessive production of sebum (oil).
You must overcome acne internally while treating it externally. Otherwise, you are just ignoring the desperate ’signs’ your body is sending you.
Although it is good to use over the counter medication, avoid products containing BP and go for natural ingredients such as tea tree oil and coleus forskohlii oil. You should also use long term approach to clear acne from within by eating acne-friendly food.
Most over the counter products don’t work throughly because they only target a small fraction of acne fighting. To throughly cure acne, you must meet these all these five acne fighting fundamentals:
Stabilize Hormonal Fluctuations. Example of this is consumption of contraceptive pills.
Prevent Blockage Of Pores. This is directly achieved by controlling facial oil production. Pore removal strips and oil control creams fall into this category.
Prevent Keratinocytes From Sticking Together. Many products eases acne from this perspective, especially products containing Vitamin A and Salicyclic Acid.
Minimize Inflammation. Soothe and calm the skin.
Kill Acne Causing Bacteria. Select your anti-acne products wisely. Some may do you more harm than good. Go for natural ingredients whenever possible.
