Only WARM !! Ears are tender and burn easily. You can warm a washcloth for about 20 seconds in the microwave and while you are holding that one on your ear, warm another in the microwave and continue that for 5 or more times. The warmth increases the circulation and helps alleviate the blocked pores or whatever is causing the acne. Hope this helps.
