What is difference between whiteheads & blackheads plus other kinds?
??Mom of 5?? asked:
Speaking of acnes, there are varies of acnes: whiteheads, blackheads, boils, plus the kind it swirls upward when squeeze (Im sorry it sound gross but whatever its called), some are sticky, putty-like or hard as a rock … What are the results of these reactions?
I am not here to be told not to pop but here to find find out why all the acnes are results in different outcome. Thank you!

1) you shouldn’t pop acne at all.
2) blackheads are bacteria clogged pores that the tops of them have turned black due to oxygen.
3) white heads are small zits that have the bacteria close to the surface of them that make the head of the zit appear to be white.
Like I said earlier you should pop or squeeze any of them. It may cause the spreading of bacteria and make you wind up with more zits. and it can make the zits appear larger and more noticeable. and worse yet if you continue to pop them you may have scarring. hope i helped.

Whiteheads ( milia) is a disorder of the oil glands caused by an accumulation of oil beneath the skin. Blackheads ( comedones) are worm-like masses of hardened sebum ( oil) created by excess oil secreted by the oil glands that fill up hair follicles which then creates a blockage at the mouth of the follicle. There are many types of skin disorders and several books that show colorful illustrations with definitions of the various types of skin problems. If you know someone in beauty school they would have a chapter called “Skin and the Disorders of the Skin” that would help answer some of your questions and give you a visual aid to determine the differences between the skin conditions.
